The four public libraries in Perry County receive some financial support from Pennsylvania in order to provide quality library services to the community. Here are the projections for state provided financial aid that Perry County Public Libraries can expect to receive and expend during 2014:
- Bloomfield Public Library: $10,765
- Community Library of Western Perry County: $5,714
- Marysville-Rye Library: $7,835
- Newport Public Library: $27,041
In addition to this financial support, the libraries of Perry County also receive services and resources funded by state dollars, including support from the Capital Area Library District for interlibrary loan, regularly scheduled delivery services, and some online resources. Pennsylvania also provides access to additional services such as Ask Here PA, an online reference question service, ACCESS PA, POWER Library, and many more.
