NPL and Penn State Extension are hosting a Pressure Canner Inspection Event on Sat., June 24 between 10 AM and noon. Bring your pressure canner to be inspected for free before canning season gets into full swing. There will be lots of canning information to pick up, and you “can” get your questions answered, as well.
Book Club at Newport Public Library
Join us for the Book Club that will meet from 10 to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, at Newport Public Library. The group will read and discuss the book, The Last Mrs. Parrish, by Liv Constantine. The Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Members choose the books the group reads. Everyone is welcome, whether you have read the book or not. Library Construction Crew at Newport- June 24
Newport Public Library Construction Crew will meet again on Sat., June 24 at 10 AM. We have lots of Lego fun every last Saturday of the month. We have the bricks and duplo sized, as well- we just need the kids. Ages 3 through tweens.
Preschool Storytime at Newport
Newport Public Library is excited to announce the spring 2023 session of weekly pre-K Storytime programs for children ages 3-5. In addition to letters, numbers, shapes and colors, this spring’s programs will help children make manners second nature.
