STEM Robot Program Series at Newport

Newport Public Library is having a series of STEM programs for 5th through 8th graders and their elder significant others. We are able to take 12 intergenerational teams (one kid and one grandparent or parent on each team). These teams will learn how to use a Sphero BOLT robot. Teams must each have a cell phone or tablet that can have the app installed to drive the robot. Teams will attend four programs (March 4, 11, 18, and 25) from 10 AM to noon. Please call the library at 717-567-6860 or drop in to sign up for this program series, which is offered free of charge, co-sponsored by the library and Mrs. Peg Olsen of Newport Middle School.
